A King to a King

            The King of Sparta Leonidas asked me to join him in his trip in our time. I became his guide in his trip. We started our journey by having lunch first. My mother prepared a lot of delicious menus knowing that I am with the King of Sparta. King Leonidas was stunned with the food my mother served us and the way she cooked it. He was quite prideful since he was a king but he showed a lot of discipline and good manners to my family. After we ate, I asked Leonidas what does a King like him doing in my time is. He told me that he wants to see our military weapons and use it against their enemies and win every battle.

            We went to a military based and there we had our conversation about the deadly weapons of the modern world. I let him hold a gun, grenade and a bazooka. He was really astonished in its destructive capability and the technology we are using. He also said that their armor and spears are no match to our guns and grenades. For a moment, I felt that Leonidas was a kid with an empty head and wants to discover a lot of things around him. Due to our long travel, we rode inside a military tank for wars. How amazed he was and how glad he was on how we improved our weapons well.

            After our long trip, we went back home. We had our tea first before he went away. And as we drink our tea, he realized how dumb man is. Then I asked him why, he then replied, man are making weapons that will kill their brothers and sisters, the more destructive it is, the better, he also added that, there is no good in having wars. As he was going home, he whispered in my ear that life is important and you are living in a very wonderful world, so don’t waste it instead, love it as if it is part of you. He also added some inspirational sayings that made me more challenged to face my problems in life.

            We thanked each other and had shake hands before he left and I gave him a bullet with 2012 inscribed in it as a remembrance that he had been in my time and for exchange, he gave me a ring that his father gave him; “we bow down before no man”.  We really had the best time of our life and we left stories for ourselves to tell our own people.

Rupture of CavSci Students

As a student of Cavite National Science High School, I believe that the nine major violations as a student are improper uniform, bullying, vandalism, getting involved in a street fight, cutting classes, plagiarism, forgery, cheating and stealing school properties.

This inferno is a shape of a root with nine discs that goes deeper and deeper as the magnitude of rupture increases. To enter, you will pass through the Gate of Chains where each soul will be chained and will be distributed to their appropriate discs. And in the first disc, it is where the students who did not wear proper uniform are punished by sewing their uniform in their body so it won’t be removed anymore and so that they will always wear it. In this first disc, there are still two branches and in the first branch, the students who did not wear their ID are punished. They are tortured by lifting a heavy ID on their neck until it is separated from their body. And in the second branch, the students with improper haircuts are confine with vultures and eagles that turns their head as its nest.

As you go under, you will pass the second disc. The place where bullies are beaten up, they are being punched, kicked and hurt by the big and scary devils and painfully hearing different bad words and gets bullied. As they are feeling the pain, they walking through a spiky, rocky road with bear foot for them to feel the pain.

Next disc, vandalism, is the place for the students who are always destroying and damaging the school’s properties as if it was nothing. They are punished by breaking their bones and tearing their body apart, others are cut in the neck and let their blood flow and the devils will use it to draw something on their faces.

The fourth disc is where the students who got involved in a street fight is punished by violent, loud and strong voices of the devils as they are whipping their bodies. They are walking in a very dark and narrow cliff.

Fifth disc, those who cut classes are punished by sticking their butts in armchairs and their feet nailed in the ground as their souls are wallowed in hot bloody water. It is for them not to go anywhere and be still on where they are right now.

Abutting to this is the second part of hell. The sixth disc lies here, where the students who copied others work and presented it to their teacher. They are birched here by removing their eyes and cutting their hands one by one, for them not to copy another’s work ever again.

Third to the last disc, the students who forged the signature of their parents/ teachers are castigated by being immersed in the quicksand until they can’t move their body and only their head is seen.

After the disc of forgery is the disc of the cheaters. This is the disc where the souls of the cheaters are punished by covering their faces by papers and full their mouths by papers as well and their hands are tied in barbwires so they can’t cheat anymore.

Lastly, the disc of stealing, where Ant the devil of the devils in this inferno, chews the souls of those students who stole books from the library, books of their classmates, pens, pencils and others.

            --- I bet I did scare you somehow, so as a student of CNSHS you better follow the rules of our alma mater or else you’ll be going to my inferno and feel the pain and the wrath of Ant.

A Friend who Touched my Heart

Dear Jasmine,

           

I really don’t know what to write here Jas, but I want you to know that ever since the day I first saw you, from that very moment a strong feeling grew up inside me, a “crush” I believe. I know that a lot of guys are admiring you and I am no one compared to them that is why I did not have a chance to tell you what I feel. For the first time in my life I felt that I had a purpose in this world and you have changed my life ever since I saw you.  

There is so much I want to say but no words can explain it, but I’m telling you, all my life I was looking for someone like you. I dreamed for someone who is kind, loving, cheerful, caring and who has a good heart just like you. I love the way you smile, your witty actions and hearing that cute voice of yours just sets my day to the best degree.

           

Every texts and calls we made just makes my “crush” on you stronger every day. You became my inspiration every time I do something which leads me to give my best. And that little conversation of us on the phone makes me the happiest person on the world. Every night you say good night and every morning you say good morning makes my day so perfect and without it, I will be as lonely as the sun when it rains, and as lonely as the moon when it is cloudy.

I treasure every moment we shared together, even we were not able to have as many happy moments we wanted. I am hoping that this friendship of ours will grow into something deeper and I hope that we could share more jiff together. And whatever might happen to us, just always remember that you will always be here in my heart and you will always be the best friend I will ever have.
